PAUL PAIRET - ROODOODOO

PAUL PAIRET - ROODOODOO

Roodoodoo, a French bakery and casual eatery serving simple fares and snacks all day.  The name is derived from Chef Paul Pairet childhood favorite, a French candy called Roudoudou: a hard seashell filled with a sweet flavored hard syrup.

Here is a “Likery” in poetic terms, a lively hangout spot combining Bakery, Pastry, Deli, Sandwicherie, Coffee Shop, Ice Creamery, Restaurant and even Bar, all in one place.

Serving all day from breakfast to dinner, Roodoodoo features a diversity of savory and sweet, anchored with Pairet’s distinctive personality.

The retro-chic design reflects a relaxed, welcoming attitude, with touches of fun.

Chifan for Charity Shanghai 2023

CHIFAN FOR CHARITY

ChiFan For Charity takes the standard concept of a large gala dinner and throws it out the window!
10 years ago, founder Michael Crain had an idea and convinced a few restaurants in Beijing to participate in this innovative concept, using his network and friends to spread the word. From this, Chi Fan for Charity was born. ChiFan for Charity (CFFC) takes place at various renowned restaurants across Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong.

I was invited to photograph 4 restaurants in 1 evening.
